3 New L'Oreal Tries

L'Oreal has been my favourite drug store makeup brand for a while now, their products are of such high quality and never disappoint me. So many of their products are so similar to high end products, such as the YSL Touche Eclat foundation and the L'oreal True Match foundation which are almost identical products in different bottles.

The first thing I purchased was the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer Base. This primer paired with the L'Oreal True Match foundation literally gives you the most radiant and glowy looking face. The product comes out of the pump looking bright white with serious shimmer but blended in it doesn't look white, and leaves a subtle glow. It's also really moisturising and my foundation blends into it really well. This was £9.99 which is slightly pricey considering the tube is quite thin but you're paying for the quality with this one!

Another product I picked up was a L'Oreal Paris Le Blush in the shade Rosewood, which was £6.99. I love the packaging of this product, it has a separate compartment at the bottom with a little brush and a mirror, which is super handy for on-the-go make up. The shade is a brown toned pink with a slight pink shimmer to it. This is a really pigmented blush so you only need a little, and it blends really well. I feel like this colour would be great for Autumn.

The last L'Oreal product I bought and have been trying out is the Brow Artist Genius Kit. I've been using my trusty MUA Pro Brow Eyebrow Kit for a few years now and thought it was time I ventured out and tried a new brow kit. I love how the kit comes with little instructions, a mirror, a tinted brow gel, powder, tweezers and a double ended brush and spoolie. Super handy for on the go, and it's so compact! The brow shade is very close to mine, closer than my MUA kit is. The brush provided actually does a really good job at enhancing my brow line and filling my brows in. One thing I would say is that the brow gel isn't very strong and I've been going over it with the Maybelline Brow Drama gel to keep them in place. This is a seriously good little kit though for £9.99!
