A Boots and Kiko haul

Recently I went to London to visit my boyfriend, He lives near Westfield mall in Stratford and I couldn't resist having a mini shop while he was at work!
The last time I went to London I popped into Kiko in Regent Street and I bought a 'Long Lasting Stick' in no.5 and 'Essential Bronzer in 'Warm Melange' after hearing so many good reviews! Both of these products are amazing and such good value for money, so I had to go back and get a few more things to try!
Firstly I really wanted to try another of their 'Long Lasting Sticks' and i picked up the shade 'No.6' this time. This is a gorgeous golden bronze shade with shimmer. These eye shadow sticks are so buttery and pigmented. They are a perfect base and I like to pop them on, blend them with an eye shadow brush to avoid any harsh lines and then pop a slightly darker shade in the crease. The only downside is that by the end of the day they have slightly creased a little, nevertheless it's still now one of my favorite eye products!

I also picked up one of their 'Water Eyeshadow's' in the shade '228'. Firstly, this packaging is beautiful (heart eye emoji), and has a handy mirror inside the lid. This eye shadow can be applied with a wet or dry brush. I haven't tried using it with a wet brush yet but i'll definitely give it a go in the future! The colour is a gorgeous shimmery purple with grey undertones. It is so pigmented! A little goes a long way and this blends like a dream, I would definitely recommend.

In Kiko they have a little sale going on at the moment and most of their nail varnishes were down to £2.50 so naturally I had to pick one up to try! I picked up 'no.22', a lovely deep purple shade which I have yet to use!

Lastly in Kiko I picked up one of their 'Pencil Lipgloss' in the shade '12'. This is a brown shade with berry undertones. These are similar to the 'Maybelline Colour Drama' lip pencils but more glossy. The pigmentation is good and they slide on so nicely. The texture feels really lovely and moisturising. They also claim to have Vitamin E in which helps with premature ageing and protection.

From Boots I picked up the new Maybelline 'Lash Sensational' mascara, which I have yet to try! The mascara has a plastic wand and it is slightly curved to multiply lashes. I have heard it's similar to the Benefit 'Roller Lash' mascara, which I own and is the best mascara I have ever tried, so i'm hoping this will be a cheap drugstore alternative!

I also picked up the new Maybelline 'Master Sculpt contouring palette' in the shade 'light medium'. The compact is handy and comes with a mirror inside the lid and a brush in the compartment below. The brush is actually really handy for contouring cheek bones on the go. The bronzer is matte and is nicely build able. I feel I should have got the 'medium dark' shade instead though because I like my contoured cheek bones to stand out a little more than this allows. The highlight however, is a lovely glowy highlight with gold shimmer, this one would be great for strobing.

I currently own two of the Loreal 'Colour Riche, Lombre Pure' eyeshadows and they are lovely and creamy and very blend able, so I thought I would pick up another. I picked up the shade '507' which is a gorgeous pearly pink with gold undertones. This eyeshadow is quite subtle but definitely build able and the packaging is gorgeous!
Lastly from Boots I picked up the 'La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo'. I've been going through a bad skin time at the moment and I've heard so many good things about this product so I thought I would try it. It claims to help correct the appearance of imperfections and unclog blocked pores. You apply this cream after cleansing and can use it with a moisturiser. I've only been using this for a couple of days and the redness of my blemishes has definitely improved but it's too early to tell yet!
Has anyone tried any of these products or have any recommendations?
xoxo
